    Looks original and very nice. I would go with VF-30.

    BTW: The coin *was* ANACS VF-30, which I thought was reasonable. Since everybody guessed that grade, it must be, right?

    Classic choice VF, but too many coins like this or only slightly better get into EF-40 holders.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Wow, very nice example of the scarce B-6 variety!!

    This marriage has the obverse of the B-4 (small date, 3 not low)
    and the reverse of the B-5 (large letters in legend, curved base 2 in large low denomination)

    I agree with choice VF30 as the grade, super original piece image

  • I don't even have any bust quarters and I graded it a solid VF-30 before I read the other opinions......just a nice original example that looks like it has a good home image
