Would you prefer to overpay for a coin just to move higher in the rankings?
After all, it would be little different than buying an optimistically graded coin for the same purpose. And many people do that, right?

It would be all srewed up. Bad enough you would have people out there with more money than brains paying whatever for a coin just to out-do the other guy but you would also have other people getting "FAKE" receipts from Dealer buddies over stating what a coin cost so they could move up in the rankings as well.
