I have a box and a coin in a slab, but they did not come together. image

The wood in box can do some things to the coin so it's not the ideal storeage device. Still it is neat.

BTW these boxes are among the more common of the orginal holders for the old commems, but they are still neat.

It's good see that your box is real. There are counterfeits out there.

If the dates are not recessed into the wood,
The box is no good. image

These boxes were discussed in past threads. It was claimed that these boxes were reproduced and there are fake boxes out in the market place so be careful!
