Beautifully Toned Reverse on Grant Commemorative. What Early Commem Do You like Toning Best on?

I thought I would like to share with you one of the most beatuiful reverses I've seen on a Grant commemorative. It just successfully crossed to PCGS MS64. In the interest of full disclosure, this coin is already sold.

That reverse is amazing. I've seen a few very beautifully toned Connecticut commems. I think the wild, cartoonish tree, with the oversized leaves angled every which direction, combined with luster and toning, can make for a very attractive piece

That's my favorite commem, though, so I'm biased image

Ahhh...that Grant was once in my possession and I miss it dearly. I hope the new owner likes it as much as I did.

    Hello,

I am new to the forum and I am the new owner of this incredible Grant commemorative coin. It is a gorgeous coin and I have nothing but praise for the seller. Utmost professionalism and courtesy. My early commemorative "toned" collection is slowly growing and I look forward to participating in this forum in the future. John

Overall, Norfolks, Roanokes, Oregons, all tone nicely.

It is interesting to find out the Grant here and Fatman's Bay Bridge were both
in my toned commems collection one time . It is nice to see the new owners like the
    coins.

Wow! Thanks for the welcoming comments and a special thanks to Brandon for a great coin and ofcourse I'm looking forward to adding some more to my collection. A little about myself: I have been collecting PSA graded vintage baseball cards and CGC graded vintage super-hero comic books for a long time and recently I have submerged myself into the coin collecting hobby. My father collected coins as a child and young adult and has shared his collection with me recently. We both went to the Santa Clara, CA coin show a month ago and I was introduced for the first time to the world of "monster toned" coins and specifically, early commemoratives. I was instantly hooked and I'm slowly but surely building a nice collection of PCGS MS nicely toned early commemoratives. I think they are just incredible natural works of art. Thanks, John (dizzyfoxx)
