What's the story here? Is this justice--she's not able to post auctions but people who have been burned are able to leave negative feedback?

Most likely, IMO, a lot of burned buyers who were unable to leave feedback while she was NARU'd are releasing the hounds.

Isn't it, though? I've probably held close to 100 auctions as a seller, and while I have had one deadbeat bidder (who never paid, so I got the FVF back and relisted for an even higher closing bid), other than that it's all been good. It must be awful to be a magnet for scummy bidders!

All these idiots could have read her feedback before bidding and seen the warnings about thief and don't bid. And now they all get to get in line and write feedback that says thief and don't bid.

Ya know, many people seem to have this attitude......and, it is partially true. However, not everyone knows how to just look at negative feedback or are aware of shills and people essentially "buying" feedback.
If the person roped in is an experienced ebayer, I agree with you, but if it is the casual ebayer, then I would disagree.

I had been on ebay for 3+ years (very sporadic in my buys as I wasn't buying coins and was just playing around on a few things) and I didn't know about any of the sniping software, any of the shilling going on, any of the ways to view just negatives which is useful when someone has HUNDREDS, much less THOUSANDS, of feedback and it takes forever to scroll through (especially on dialup which many people still have), etc.

I am glad that so many people here are so smart that if someone gets screwed, even by a noticeable scammer like PJD, it is always their fault.
Can't be any other reason...it is always the buyer's fault, right?

There's a big difference between "caveat emptor" and "it's the buyer's fault." I see a lot of the former philosophy and little to none of the latter.

I do agree with you that it's easy for experienced, grizzled eBay vets to pooh-pooh ripoffs like these as the "education" of the uninformed, and that makes me uneasy, too. But when the rubber hits the road, all we can do is hope to educate newbies in how to detect scams and (hopefully) make it harder for them to do business. (But as we can see in the Savannah situation, that seems rather hard.)
