Up until 1991 - single set
1992 - 1998 - clad and silver set
1999 - nine piece clad and silver set
2000 - 2003 - 10 peice clad and silver set
2004 - 2005 11 piece clad and (soon to be) silver set
Add the new Quarters in 1999, a new set each year
Looking at the first new coin added in 2000, the Sac.
In 2004, the nickel takes on not one but two reverses
In 2005, the nickel gets not only new reverses, but a single new obverse.
Things just keep getting more and more interesting. Looking at the 2005 PROOF set there are so many different looking coins in the expected locations, it's fun to collect new coins again.

<< <i>I agree. And we can expect some new designs on the cent in 2009. >>
I hope so!
I've even heard stories/bills for 4 different designs for the cent in '09.
...a boy can dream...
How about a matt proof Lincoln?

I'd give you the world, just because...
Speak to me of loved ones, favorite places and things, loves lost and gained, tears shed for joy and sorrow, of when I see the sparkle in your eye ...
and the blackness when the dream dies, of lovers, fools, adventurers and kings while I sip my wine and contemplate the Chi.
