Sellers who don't leave feedback.

What's up with these "power sellers" that refuse to leave feedback after a transaction has completed? It's happened to me numerous times after
leaving positive feedback for a seller who could care less now that he's a powerseller.

I always hated getting what I paid for too.

...suck, but what can you do.

It's happened to me before, too.

Are you more interested in getting what you paid for or the feedback? Feedback is voluntary, not mandatory.
  • Of course, but I also expect people to do the right thing, LIKE I DO. I treat people as I expect to be treated.
Not leaving feedback when someone pays you promptly and leaves positive feedback when they recieve the item is
just rude. I wonder about folks that make excuses for these lazy individuals. Yeah I got my merchandise, but how
about some frigging accountability? You got a guily conscience or something?

    While feedback is certainly optional,

As a seller, I normally leave positive feedback upon recieving cash. But I have forgotten multiple times, and a simple reminder get em their postive feedback

Well, if you left feedback for the seller and they don reciprocate, that certainly is a pain. For sellers like that, I simply don't bid on their auctions again.

I am pretty busy so I just do feedback monthly. Just too time consuming to do daily. mike image
  • Kinda uptight if you ask me.

You can check to see if the seller leaves feedback for others. Click open their feedback number, then click open "left for others." If they don't, why bother leaving feedback for them? That's how I play the game.

Well you can make a note not to buy from them again, orrrrrrrr, you can buy some insignificant item from them and leave a neg, I bet THAT would get their attention.

Personally I would simply not buy from them again as there are plenty of other coins in the bay.

  • What gets me is when you get an email praising you for a $525 transaction, but the buyer refuses to leave feedback even after you leave feedback as a seller....image

"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."

Just not worth worrying about. They do or they don't.

  • As a buyer, I couldn't care less whether sellers leave feedback for me.

OK It can die after this summary.

It is nice to get positive feedback, but not buying from the seller, or leaving negative feedback, seems like overkill. Positive feedback is like the "have a nice day" when you drive out of McDonalds. It is nice but it is not what you went there for, and not getting it should not make you say you will never go back.

I for one have so many things going on I sometimes forget to breath, let alone leave feedback.
