<< <i>Why is it that there are no Morgan's out there with that same close banded rainbow toning pattern that this coin evidences from 6 to 10 o'clock? >>
I have seen some Morgans that carry close banded rainbows, most were crescent bag toned dollars. I own a crescent toned 83O that carries this close banded effect.
If It doesn't have great eye appeal, I don't want it.

Hey Bear, coingratulations, too. I usually throw out them jabs due to jealousy and envy and all them GREEN things ...iffin ya know what I mean. It really is a lovely piece.... satin, smooth, delectable, mmmmmm
While I believe toned Morgans are soon due for a valuation correction, attractively toned Peace dollars have great potential. There just are so few of them. This one is absolutely fantastic. Congrats! ....and I guess you kinda suck too.

Yes, but are any of them toned????
Great looking coin but I'm not sure it's the World's Finest -- Art's coin is spectacular, Toningintheblood has a 34-D that is amazing as well, it's hard to say which one is the World's Finest. Ron S. has a KILLER 23-S as well.

Great coins are not cheap, and cheap coins are not great!
Guys,Bear sold that coin almost a year ago,and i believe that Doug bought it back from seller, after the coin got bashed because of questionable toning.Have not seen it in hand so no comment from me,just a memory jog.

You're forgetting it's the "Worlds Finest." He sure seems to have a lot of these eh?

Agreed -- not with those hits on the cheek. Without the color, it's a 63.

That's a stunner! Congrats Bear. That deserves more than a jelly donut, that deserves a jelly pie!

So many people read threads and don't pay attention to the passing of time.
