Boiler 78 bid for me today in the ANR sale in Baltimore. I bought a J217a, hoping that few would notice it was the Eliasberg coin. The pedigree wasn't listed in the catalog or on the holder. Link to coin
Just for fun, I looked up the coin today at USPatterns.com. Not only is the coin and picture listed but the pedigree is there! It never ceases to amaze me the expertise, time and dedication some people exert. Thanks Andy - this website is a real treasure/resource.
PS - Anyone know how to spell extrodanaire correctly??

Congrats on the purchase! Are you going to have PCGS reholder it with the pedigree?
I agree that uspatterns.com is a fantastic site - absolutely one of the finest coin sites on the web.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

His site was a nice reference for my last research paper

MrEureka is number one, too.
Alot of folks, including Kay and Boiler knew the pedigree too - just very impressed with the dedication involved in keeping the web site up to date.
