Do you think the 1986-2005 ASE sets that include the 2000 Millenium Eagle are any more desirable that the regular 20 coin set?

I'd give you the world, just because...
Speak to me of loved ones, favorite places and things, loves lost and gained, tears shed for joy and sorrow, of when I see the sparkle in your eye ...
and the blackness when the dream dies, of lovers, fools, adventurers and kings while I sip my wine and contemplate the Chi.

Ok...that makes about zero sense.
To answer the original question.....99 out of 100 times, no.
There is always someone that would say yes though and pay a little bit more (not much).
I did when buying my first SAEs...I bought the ICG MS68 MS69 SAEs on ebay. I've since sold one for a few dollars loss.
I also wouldn't pay more for a set with 1st strike, signatures, etc. I wouldn't expect to get more either (so, if selling, I would put a generic one in and sell the other on its own if I thought I could get more than a generic).
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I'll explain-- If you like them, buy them. If your out for the bucks, than absolutly not....
I just wonder if maybe it is a good time to sell, if I can get a few bucks more than I paid.....
I would think with a plain jane set like UNC Silver Eagles anything out of the ordinary would increase interest. I got a couple of these in ICG holders before PCGS or NGC would even holder them.
The uniqueness of the coin is that the US Mint on the set COA states the coin was minted at West Point. The downer of course is no mint mark. The interest was sparked when the set was released because of the recent memory of the 1995W Proof ASE. Dealers looked at this as an opportunity to hype a Silver Eagle with a mintage of only 50,000 (set limit). In fact ICG holdered these as "2000-(W)". Up to this point it was believed by most that all the ASEs were minted in Philadephia, but the truth was later revealed that all 2000 ASEs were minted at West Point. So, in reality there is absolutely no difference between the two, just that the millenium set ASE has a better story.

Ah, thank you for clarifying.
I understand now but the euphemism used was not clear at the time. Thanks

Of course I have to be different and say that the set is not complete without the Millennium slab. Yes, the coin is the exact same as any other 2000 SAE. NGC requires it for it's registry set. I think PCGS Has it as an option.
