'Twas a VG 1936 Merc dime, found in my grandmother's sideboard while I was setting the table for Thanksgiving dinner in 1976, that launched my lifelong obsession with numismatics. I still have that coin. I am now as old as it was when I found it. (At the time, it seemed really old and fascinating to my eager young eyes).
I have since had quite a few but do not have any lovely UNC coin pictures to post. This'll have to do.

It doesn't seem the same now, I mean do you think a kid will be impressed with a 65 clad roosie?
But you never know. It's all relative, I guess.
