I was at my bank today and struck up a conversation with one of the tellers I know - we started talking about coins, because she knows I collect, so one thing led to another, and pretty soon the subject of the new Buffalo Nickels came up. Then she asked - do you want to order any? My eyes got real big, and I said - yeah - I'll take a box. So when they come in - I'll be first in line with a box of those bad boys

I go to this bank near work that I have no account with every time the new 2 bits come out and they more the joyfully accommodate me. Yesterday I got my California Quarters and asked if they had the new nickels. She said next week definitely...........I'll be back I said.............By the way I use this same teller every year prior to my trips to Bali, Indonesia to procure brand new $100 bills as that is all they take. Last year I brought her back a wood carving and some sarongs just as a thank you........she melted. Be nice to your tellers and they will remember you forever..............OH!........Did I say she was also hot?..............Rick

I was talking to the girl at my bank that does the coin ordering. She didn't know that the Federal Reserve may have the nickels. They don't order directly from the Fed, but she is going to try to get the new nickels. She took my number and will call me if they come in.
