2004 Peace medal Nickels on ebay

Has anyone else notice that the 2004 Peace medal Mint wrapped sets are going for 75 + on eaby..I have seen three auctions over $90......thoughts?

Yea, I have been noticing that. I'm almost thinking of dumping my set. Undoubtly this is a result of the new nickel coming out this week and now everyone is looking for last years.

I just bought the last 4 rolls (bank-wrapped rolls) of Peace Medal Denver Mint nickels from my bank. Would these sell for a premium? By the way, how should I try to sell them if both sides of the roll don't show tails. I know what you're thinking....how do I know that these are the Peace Medal coins....I know, because I trust the guy who runs the vault (he set them aside from the incoming Keel Boat nickels). Do I have to break them out into a different roll or container?

The rolls that get the big premium on ebay are the ones that were bought directly from the US mint in the special US mint paper wrappers. The wrappers say US Mint on them. Normal bank wrapped rolls don't bring those silly numbers.

Wouldn't worry too much about how the coins are facing. I would recommend putting a sticker on the rolls so you don't forget what they are. I have lots of bank wrapped rolls where there are two obverses or two reverses facing out.

What kind of premium, if any, would one expect from bank-wrapped rolls? Or, should I just spend 'em?

if you have extra peace medal sets from the mint, now seems like a good time to sell them. maybe they will go higher, but $75 for an eight dollar set seems fair to me. I actually paid a premium for mine, more that 35 bucks. If I can double my money, ill take it.
