Anyone here do business with Brian Greer?

Just wanted to see what type of feedback this dealer has who advertises in Numismatic News. I talked to him last night and he seems to be a pretty straight up guy but he doesn't have time to provide scans/pictures of any coins. I told him, I'm a picky buyer and said he was also.

Many of us really don't have time to do scans and emails. There's a whole new crop of "photo collectors" out there who waste a lot of timie asking for such things. So don't hold that against him as a lot of us just don't accomadate people with that.

I just started doing it fairly regularly ( putting current price list with photos online ) and a lot of the guys I know couldn't be bothered.

That said however, this "new way" of doing business has created a couple million bucks in business I probably wouldn't have seen if I didn't have the online stuff and so I'm becoming a believer in it. It hasn't caught up to everyone by a long shot though.

I agree with Jim. His grading is absolutely spot-on correct. He only chooses coins with good "eye appeal." He is definitely one of the good guys.

Brian is simply great. He really is one of the best dealers out there for nice, original, collector coins and his prices are realistic. He is a conservative grader and his descriptions, albeit brief, are accurate and without hype. His inventory turns over fairly fast and he has a strong and loyal customer base. Don't hold his lack of time for pictures against him . . . order once from him and you likely will be hooked.
