Cameron: A comparison of two different NGC sample slabs with Morgan silver dollars

orevilleoreville Posts: 11,961 ✭✭✭✭✭
The one on the left is the one on your web site as NGC 4.2. The one on the right is the one I bought over a year ago. They are both dated 1887. Do you see the difference? Yours does not have the NGC name on the insert (which is decidedly rarer) while mine does. They are two separate types. Feel free to add mine to your site for comparison.

  • Neat sample! It will be added as NGC 4.3 in the next few weeksimage Do you have a closer up pic of the slab that I could use?

Andy: Couldn't find the plastic forum.

Perhaps you could set one for us?

But I did like both 1887 silver dollars, both US coins.

Perhaps you inadvertently made a good suggestion:

Why not have a Coin history Forum?
