mudflap nails it! but that was your second guess....ahhhhh this would of been one of the nicer real one autos if it was 2004 now it is a team topps legend.....barf!
I think I saw a Podres with a $5 BIN. Topps probably paid him more than that to sign.
You just have to wonder about the players on the Real One autos - most of them played for less than 5 years or so, and nobody has ever heard of them. Can you imagine how surprised those guys must have been when Topps called them asking them to sign?
yeah thats too bad. Im thinking I might be done with the blaster boxes....are the lots of light backs still selling well on ebay? I got a whole stack and they are all doubles
the real one auto's stink..and why cant topps fill in alot of star players from today?? i mean we should at least pull 1 auto every other box...keep the vintage guys short at 200 but help us out...least give us a jeter or thome or arod or gulp...BONDS!!!!! JEEEEZ!!!
funny, Ive pulled 2 GU and 2 autos and thats it. I have a stack of 20 chromes for you and some refs too. so far my hit out of some 7 boxes has been a diering auto.....something wrong with that.
I might be picking up some of that leaf certified rather than heritage!
I've opened 4 blaster boxes. The first 3 had a refractor and a chrome each. The last one was just a chrome (Maddux - how did I manage to hit a duplicate chrome??). I think I may call it good on the blasters and start collating to figure out what I need to trade for (aside from a lot of SPs and half the NAPs) to build the set. At least I hit a Bonds refractor in an open-box pack tonight... if you have to pull a refractor, well, it's better than most of 'em.
I bought two of these so called Blaster boxes because I was shopping at Wal-Mart and saw them, and decided it was my duty to see what all the fuss is about, even though I'm not into the whole Heritage craze. I got a refractor in both, no ink, no wood, but one pack was REALLY thick so it got my all excited about the possibilities (of which I'm still not sure). Turns out there were 4 chromes stuck together, making the pack 11 cards. No big stars. This can't be normal.

I still think it's stupid that the Bonds logo is on every box.
Kevin
notice that?
I'm going to pony up for a couple hobby boxes in the next week or so I think.
