ACK!! Ok, so... I got hooked on Rainbow Roosies... Started 2 weeks ago, and have been on a buying spree... actually, I bought one pretty back right before Christmas from Airplanenut, that started the wheel turning... then, 2 weeks ago, I won 2 auctions on EBay (one of which being from our wonderful Colorfulcoins himself) and from there, I started buying... won 3 more on EBay, then outright bought a coin each from Colorfulcoins, Airplanenut, and FrankDaPug... So, it brings my Pretty Roosie count up to.................. NINE!! And I've got a show tomorrow, so I'll be scouring the floor for more little pretties with Krypotoniecomics! Anyways, here's some pictures of some of the ones I've recieved
1957-D in PCGS-66, bought from Airplanenut!
1961 in NGC-65 won on EBay from Colorfulcoins!
1963-D in NGC-65, won on EBay
1964 in PCGS-65 won on EBay... can we sing... "Oh, Christmas Tree! Oh, Christmas Tree!" Only coin I have that's slabbed reverse out!
And the King Coin of my set, this AMAZING coin I bought off of Colorfulcoins!!

But it's one of those coins that you look at it from one angle, and it just looks brownish and gold and butt-ugly, but get the light on it right, and the color flashes out...

<< <i>Okay, that XMAS tree one is just plain bizarre. What would cause that type of toning? NT....really? >>
Good ol' mint set toning.

Sorry, G-man, but I think that 1963-D is one of the fugliest things I have seen in a while.
I'd dip that faster than... well....... fast.
Looks like somebody hurled on it.
The "Christmas Tree" dime is also ugly, but I have to admit, it is COOL-ugly. Interesting.
I like 'em when they look like cameonut's icon. Nice pastels, not too heavy, evenly distributed, no breaks or interruptions.
You can have all that mottled, splotchy, uneven stuff. Blecch. Hideous.
To each his own, though.
(Betcha never thought your coins would be ridiculed by a fella who collects coins with HOLES drilled in them, huh?)
BTW- good one, mgoodm3!
