Names of any on line coin sellers?????

I've never bought anything through the internet before until recently. Due to a recent thread I went to VT coins and purchased three coins. The prices were very good compared to what I've seen on ebay, local coin shows and coin dealers. I'm not an ebayer person anyway. Don't know how to use it and at my age not sure if I want to figure it out. My son tried to teach me and set up some kind of account but since I didn't write it down, don't remeber. Afraid to keep asking him since he'll think I'm just to old for this compter age and I am. Now finally here is my question.
Can Anyone out there give me a list of dealers on line they consider honest, trust worthy, EASY to use web site, with fare prices, guarantees, etc ?

Try this guy, too. Mike is a good guy and generally describes his stuff pretty well with fairly decent pictures.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know someone else asked the same question. The 2 listed here ACE and DLRC looked pretty good. I'm no computer expert but there web sites were simple enough for even me. Thanks again to this forum for a bunch of great people.

  • Carl, a lot of the forum members fit the description. So, you're already there, just make your wishes known, or follow their links. Click "By, Sale, Trade US coins" in the pop-down menu upper right of this screen to see offers to sell. Shopping here is quick and easy, and they might take bushel baskets of old wheats as payment, so two problems solved.

Ditto what pharmer said -- there's everything from total junk to really high end stuff on the buy-sell-trade forum, all at its price, and without exception everybody I've dealt with here has been great.

As usual you people have the solutions. That's why I am here I guess. I've spent so much time running aroung to coin shows and dealers and should have just stuck to here. Thanks millions.

Seriously, I'm looking for the same thing. Carl, do you, or anyone else, have a link for "VT Coins"?

    Thanks,

  • I`ve dealt with Rick Tomaska a few times and have been very pleased with what I got from him. Kind of on the higher side of prices but, the material I received I`m very pleased with.

Jade Rare Coin has been highly recommended to me. I haven't bought anything yet (I keep hitting eBay and blowing my coin budget on slabbed moderns) but they will be the first online dealer I'll be trying out. Dennis is also a regular contributor on this forum.

Alpine Numismatics for PCGS certified coins, EarlyUS.com for nice raw coins.

I'll vouch for Alpine, too. I've met the dealer/owner and bought a few things from him. Great company and very reasonable.
