I also purchased a couple of really nice Morgan's at the show. Activity was high so if you wanted something you betternot take too long deciding.

The 1897-S is MS64 borderline maybe MS65. The 1899 is close to a DMPL, probably MS64. IMO. What are your thoughts K6AZ?

I think you're right on the 97-S being a solid 64. I'm not sure about the 99 though, it seems to have some pretty deep marks on the cheek, and two pretty heavy marks just to the right of the E.

You're right about the marks near the E. The ones on the cheek are not as noticeable under magnification, but this camera is so dam good at pointing out the marks. You know what I mean...

Yep, that's why I asked what you thought. Most people are undergrading my stuff since I started using the D70 for coins.
