2005 Proof SAE Questions

I've never ordered a thing directly from the Mint. I see that the 2005 Proof SAE's are scheduled to be available March 15th. Is that when they start accepting oders too? Or, do they accept orders ahead of time and start shipping them then? Anyone who's ordered SAEs in the past have an idea as to time from order to ship date?

You will have to wait until March 15 to order.

If you plan on ordering the same quantity every year you can get a subscription. With a subscription they automatically send X number per year, however, my experience is that it does not necessarily mean you get them first. But you will never need to order them again.

The mint is usually fairly quick with the material you order.

Now if you order something like this on the first day not sure how quick they would be.

In 2001 my Buffalo Dollars took a long time to get but that was the only thing.

The Canadian Mint ships right away I have found and then it takes forever for the material to show up cause of crossing the border I guess.
