I spent about three hours at the Cleveland Coin Expo on Friday. Overall, I was disappointed: My main guy wasn't there. In fact, the turnout was lacking; I'd say the show was about 70% of what it was in November. No exciting mercs, marked up raw jeffersons, dealers complaining about hiked table fees, lotsa misery in the air. In addtion, I bought an AT coin (full story here). I ended up with three BU jeffs including a steel blue 42-D in a PCGS 65FS slab. Perhaps the only excitement was this Morgan I picked up when I first arrived. Nice guy, president of a local coin club, made my day.
guess the grade (and slab, hint is given in the reverse pic )

Whoever said ANA and 64, you're right!! So some of you guys think the toning is questionable? Why is that?
the picture of the coin in the holder, it clear that the marks in
the right obv. are not superficial toning (as I originally thought) so
the coin is definitely MS64. It's often hard to tell from a picture
if what you are seeing is friction/marks or tone on a heavily
toned coin.
Nice GTT thread.
