I believe the left edge but if I am wrong just keep tapping until it goes around. Place a towel on the ground (or use the carpet in a room) and tap away.

I only caution that I have tried to do this once and the coin tilted so that the top edge rubbed against the front window of the slab and bottm edge rubbed against the back. it wasn't good. The coin wasn't damaged, but it could have been.

Tap lightly, I suggest.
Didn't Cameron demonstrate a few months ago in a thread that even coins in recent holders could still be rotated by tapping?
