This one use to be a Cameo.......about 130 years ago.......then it rubbed off - along with everything else!

The 77CC is semi PL. The dies clashed and were polished to remove the clashmarks.

The only one I have at the moment is on my vest. (Top left, in this sorry picture.) It is counterstamped on the reverse. (Not chopmarked).

Wow! What a fantastic bunch of coins. I can see why TDN became the Trade Dollar Nut. I really like the examples shown here, all of them. It is hard for me to imagine that TDN's CC coin is a MS example. I saw that and thought "what a great thread". Then comes MrEureka's pattern. Way cool!

Excellent coins everyone. A couple more.....Here's an interesting one....1878-S designated MS-63 PL by NGC. These are hard to find in PL condition and harder to capture on an image.

Another one....reverse of a near flawless 1876
