WOW, I am really surprised by the amount of people who list ebay as one of their primary sources.

I am not surprised one bit. There are so many ebay-related threads here that one must figure that ebay is a significant source of coins for forum members.

95% of my money is spent with national/specialist dealers (in order of $$$ spent):

    Doug Winter/Pinnacle
    Al Adams/Gold Rush Gallery
    Legend
  • Certified commems from Legend, Pinnacle, Whitlow, McIntosh @ coin shows (Long Beach, Pasadena & Glendale), Harry Labstain, and other Long Beach dealers. BTWs and Wash-Carvers from EBay. Peace dollars from Steve Estes.

I buy circulated stuff (Indians, Lincolns, Franklins, and Mercs) from a coin dealer in Burbank (640 So Victory Blvd) who is only open Monday nights. He sold me six raw commems years ago, and he called the grades correct on all when they came back from PCGS. (There was one he called 65 that came back 66 -- but he hit all the others right on the money so to speak.) I was pretty impressed as commems is certainly not his specialty.
Here's to it and to it again.
If you don't do it when you get to it,
You'll never get to it to do it again.
