  • Looks nice - what kind of luster does that bad girl have?

You need to see this one up close and personal. I'm guessing a high end MS 65 RB. If it's flashy enough -- and that hit through the middle of star six is on the holder -- it may go 6.

Copper is very hard to image. In person, it might qualify for a RD designation.
It appears the remains of a light fingerprint near the nose shouldn't hurt the grade.

What is going on between the stars at 4 o'clock?
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

It looks to me like it has/had something on there...maybe something oily. The lustre is still there, but the coin is a bit lighter in that spot...I looked at it under the microscope and can't see any metal movement or damage. The coin has great lustre.

Based on the best I can see 66RB

  • Major hit on star 6. A Print and another hit by the neck. Some rim dings on the reverse.

I'll say 63RB at best a 64RB. Need better pictures.

Edit to add: The spot & stars are keeping it from a higher grade.
