Man that WV quarter is a lousy coin.
Minnesota would be nicer w/out the state outline.
Overall, not too much to look at are they?

    Cool...Kansas has my vote!
  • hey thanks for sharing those pics. ks gets my vote too, but california isn't bad.

here in NC we haven't received the Californias yet. can't wait to buy some from the bank.

image Wow!! a Bison Quarter, I wonder what they will think of next? Hmmm, I know! Only 13 days until a Bison Nickel. We have a theme going here, maybe for 2006 a Bison Kennedy, Accented Antlers will be the key to the set!image

I'm not crazy about the Calif (a bit crowded), but the other four look pretty neat to me.

  • I like all of the designs this year (but then again I forget what the others look like)

  • Collectively, I think these are the best designs so far.

I know it's not saying a whole lot, but I still like 'em.

  • Yep, they're the nicest group so far. Just wait until the Kansas quarter "triple horn" die gouge error comes out .image

    Edited to add a horn

  • Given the pee'ing Minuteman from years past, I can't wait to see the triple horn. Now that one might actually be worth $100,000! image

The MN one is cool since it has a couple guys fishing from my boat. The state outline is detracting, though.

The KS design is good - definitely better than TN or that pelican on LA.

    I like Oregon the best.

  • Nice, I look forward to them when the full silver set comes out. Something about the silver makes the reflection different I think.

Don't you think KS would have been better with a state outline in there?

"Kansas, the rectangular state with the corner chewed off."

  • Hey! I think I see only three legs on that Bufflo!!!

I like this year's set, too.

California gets my vote for the nicest design of the year.
  • I like the KS one too. How much can I get for this one?

Edited due to keyboard malfunction! image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Sorry people, I don't like the Kansas. The Buffalo looks dorky and the daisy's are totaly out of place.

Coin World had example of I think Nebraska where one of the options was two buffalo in a field, it looked much better. They said they would not make that one because of buffalo overload.

  • Those aren't daisy's, they're sunflowers.

Personally I like the WV and OR designs. The other three don't impress me at all. Those three I rank as California, Kansas, and finally Minnisota
  • Mine have just arrived, not bad considering the distance!
