I suggested this in the Q&A Forum and was pretty much told it isn't gonna happen. I still think it's a good idea, though.

The only subjects I ever hear outright legal threats and other idiotic nonsense concerns Ebay threads. I'd rather never see one again, and I'm sure Ebay would pay PCGS to advertise on a thread like that.

Some of the threads are humorous and/or educational.

I think this place is busy enough to have some kind of split- so many new posters asking the same questions and OT posts and semi OT posts that maybe another forum is needed for the more advanced collector that wants to stay on topic and is not here to discuss kate moss, dead heads, auto's, pet's and so on.

There is already a place for that. It's called Sleepy Hollow, and if there were a few more posters there to keep things moving, I think that I would be content there, too.

I'm not a legal expert, but wouldn't an ebay only forum cause liability issues for PCGS?
