The opening bid on the same kind of coin on ebay right now is $179 and $5 shipping so I figure that this is a pretty good deal....

So GTG has an Alt. ID.... I thought so... there does seem to be an uncanny resemblance !!

    Hey, thanx for the pic.

You are welcome. I was surprised to know that there were collectors out there that did not know what they look like. image

GTG is trying to sell some coins on the BST board. GTG has done some foolish and immature things here, but no one has ever demonstrated that he is anything but an honest buyer/seller. Does constantly hounding him make you feel good? image
  • Not really, doen't make me feel good or bad.

He said I would get some pics, if he didn't have any, he should have said so.

But if it makes you feel good for me to stop "hounding" him, I'll certainly do that.

BTW, constantly hounding.............I believe I ask "Got any pics?" twice.

Have a wonderful day, I gotz to go to work, later.

One thing that people have demonstrated definitively is that GtG appears to be lacking in integrity, in general. When you abuse a community's trust and then try to profit from that community, you have forfeited your right to be 'welcomed' in that community; sure, you can continue to try to peddle your wares there all you want, but it doesn't mean the mob isn't going to try to run you out of town every time that you do. He has essentially breached an implied social contract and now must deal with the consequences of doing so, one way or the other (He has chosen to ignore the validity of what has happened in the past and just go on like nothing has ever happened).

With that said, I personally couldn't care less where Greg sells his coins, I know I won't waste any of my money on them. He has not, however, earned any respect here, and none will likely ever be shown unless he somehow proves that he is has found some integrity.

Here is the extent of my business with GTG:

I sold him some coins. The coins and his check crossed in the mail. I received his check promptly, and it was good.

BTW, constantly hounding.............I believe I ask "Got any pics?" twice.

Got any pics for a bullion coin is silly, especially when we all know that know matter what the pic looks like you are not going to buy it.

Edited to add: I will not post again on this matter. Posts asking for pics (especially when none are forthcoming) only serve to ttt the thread. Hassling the guy engenders sympathy from the likes of me (his alt id image )
