I've decided to sell most of my 1938-64 FS Jefferson Registry set, formerly ranked 11th,
along with some of the duplicates I've accumulated along the way.
I'll be keeping a few of the coins from this set as varieties or color coins, but the rest
are going up for sale so I can pursue other interests.
None of these coins have been upgraded by me, and most are in blue-label barcode-
on-back holders. I've tried to be selective in my purchases, and most of these are
really nice coins.
Prices include shipping. I can accept paypal, checks or money orders (may require a
10-day wait before shipping if we haven't dealt before, you are new to the boards, etc.)
10-day return privilege.
Please PM or email ken@solidcoin.com if interested.
Thanks for looking!

Date TPG Grade Pop Price
1939-S Rev ‘40 Not noted PCGS MS65FS 15/9 $700.00
Attractive silvery/gold toned and lustrous. Good strike with light, scattered marks consistant
with the grade. Very nearly 6 steps. A great coin!
1940-D PCGS MS66FS 446/72 ***SOLD***
Even, light gold toning with booming luster. Well struck with great detail throughout and
5.5 steps. A very nice coin that would seem at home in a 67 holder.
1942 T1 PCGS MS66FS 18/1 $1600.00
Toned a very attractive medium gold with strong luster. Good strike with 5.75 steps. This
coin is very clean, with any marks being tiny and scattered. Perhaps a couple of pinpoint
carbon spots in the fields kept it from a higher grade.
1943-D PCGS MS67FS 205/3 $130.00
Even, light gold tone with booming luster. Well struck with just the slightest bridge on the
bottom step keeping it from being a six-stepper. Marks are nearly non-existant, but there
are a couple of pinpoint carbon spots noticable with a loupe. A nice coin!
1944-D PCGS MS66FS 762/134/2 $150.00
This very nice coin appears to have been stored in an album, with the obverse having a
medium gold tone over most of the surface; the balance being bright. The reverse is mostly
bright, with a pastel arc of golden rainbow toning extending from 12 o’clock to 9 o’clock.
Strong luster and sharp strike with six clean-as-a-whistle steps. A few light and scattered
ticks are the only thing holding it from a higher grade.
1946-D PCGS MS66FS 198/3 $50.00
Attractive light-to-medium gold toning that is slightly darker on the devices than the fields.
Very strong luster on both sides. Good strike with 5+ steps. A few light and scattered marks
account for the grade.
1948 PCGS MS65FS 45/8 $375.00
Light-to-medium gold tone with strong luster. Well struck with good detail and 5.25 steps.
Very clean for the 65 grade assigned. A very nice coin from a former Registry set, this one
displays a “Drude Coll.” pedigree on the label.
1948-S PCGS MS66FS 63/0 $300.00
Very attractive coin with icy silvery/blue tone on the obverse. The reverse toning matches,
except Monticello is contrasting in light gold. Very lustrous and well-struck with good detail
and 5+ steps. Super clean for the grade, this is a great coin!
1949-D PCGS MS66FS 54/1 $250.00
The obverse of this coin is mostly bright, with some faint gold, while the reverse is an even
light gold. Very lustrous on both sides. Good strike with 5.5 steps. Super clean and definitely
high-end for the grade. What appears to be a hit on the cheek is actually a metal fragment
embedded in the slab plastic! Great coin!
1950 PCGS MS65FS 44/15/2 $200.00
Essentially bright white coin with strong luster. Good strike with 5+ steps. Very clean for
the assigned grade – looks better! A small die crack runs from the dome down along the 3rd
pillar.
1952-D PCGS MS66 52/0 (FS pop 21/0) $75.00
Faint gold toning with strong luster. Good strike with most details clear. Almost FS, with just
a nick and a slight bridge under the 3rd pillar. Super clean, and a very nice coin for the money!
1954-D PCGS MS65 31/5 (FS pop 17/1) $35.00
Attractive, light silvery-blue and gold tone with good luster. Good strike with just a bit of
central weakness. Clean with no major hits – just light and scattered marks. Nice coin!
1954-S PCGS MS64 87/122/24 (FS pop 8/7/0/1) $35.00
Even, light gold toning with good luster. Soft strike with central weakness and a slide instead
of steps. Being attractive and cleaner than most 64’s makes this a PQ coin for the grade.
1956 PCGS MS65FS 93/29/1 $65.00
Bright white coin with a touch of hazy silver tone in the center. Very strong luster and well
struck with good detail and 5+ sharp steps. Nice clean coin, with only a few light and scattered
hits.
1963 PCGS MS65FS 53/11/1 $175.00
Even, light golden tone throughout with strong luster. Well-struck with most details clear
and 5 sharp steps. A few light ticks, including two on the steps, keep this coin from a higher
grade. Nice, pretty coin!
1963-D PCGS MS64 51/33/1 (FS pop 9/2) $20.00
Very faint gold with strong luster. A bit of a soft strike with central weakness. Only light
and scattered marks are to be found.
1964-D PCGS MS66 10/0 (FS pop 2/0) $100.00
Mostly bright coin with some faint gold. Absolutely blazing luster. Good strike with most
details showing clearly, though the steps are nearly non-existant. Very clean with only light
and scattered marks. Tough coin at this level, with only two 66FS coins being graded.
