TNFC on e-bay?

HeywoodHeywood Posts: 1,246 ✭✭✭
Any recent experience on dealing with them?
I did a search here and only found a thread from '02.
I also did the toolhaus Neg/neutral search, most are due to raw or lower tier slabs grading.

Interested in some slabbed PCGS coins they have.

Thanks in advance.

No recent dealings, but purchased a few times in the past. No issues.

  • Good guys but do sell a bunch of NTC slabs on ebay.

I have been tempted by their offerings in the past (as recently as Sunday) but have not pulled the trigger. In my area of interest, their prices are strong enough that I do not like the risk:reward ratio for making a purchase.

Dealt with them a month or two ago......

.....Smooth transaction with no problems. Quick turn around time.

Like Cameron says they do, unfortunately, sell NTC graded coins. I do not know, however, whether they sell them at a discount.

I DO know they almost always have offered rare-dated coinage in PCGS and NGC slabs....

I wouldn't buy any of their raw or bottom-feeder slabbed stuff, but I've had good service purchasing "Big 4" slabbed material.

    Thanks all,

I thought the negs I saw here were related to them being heavily into the ACG slabs a few years back.

Bought about 20 PCGS coins from them in the past 18 months.
    Never had a problem.
    Would buy from again.

You can tell pretty much what TNFC thinks of their offerings on eBay by their starting prices and reserves.
They never start PCGS coins low and with no reserves.

I would never buy from them as they sell mostly slabs of deception.

As a matter of fact, I just received a coin from them today. I had no problems nor have I ever had any problems with them.

    Cheers,

That's not always true. I bought this 44 liberty half(PCGS MS66) in a no reserve auction from them about 2 weeks ago. Starting price was $0.99. Granted.... they are not going to let someone snipe a $5000 coin for 200 bucks, so those have a big reserve to keep them(me) out. image

No issues here. I purchased a few PCGS Silver Eagles from them at very fair prices. Shipping was fast and the few questions I had were answered promptly and professionally. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.

    Hope this helps,

    Craig
  • I bought 1 raw and 2 or 3 slabs from them.
    The raw coin was overgraded.
All coinswere recieved in a timely manner.
I recommend their slabbed coins only.

In the type coin arena all I've seen is recycled, average quality stuff at best that is available anywhere. I make it a point to exclude "TNFC" on my ebay searches so I don't lose any time looking at coins that don't work for me. Looks like Barry and I are in the minority here.
