FiveCents: Your 1921 Peace Dollar looks like it has a lot of nice original mint luster for the assigned grade -- that's also the way that I like them!! image

    Thanks stuart.image
I still don't have the coin in hand. I am real excited about the luster and can't wait to see it in person.

Paul: Do you also have a reverse photo of the 1921 Peace Dollar to go along with the Obv photo?

I have a couple, one raw and one graded. The raw one here in the scan I bought as a VG and is a VAM 3. Humble grade but, I like her!image

Here's a reverse photo. The coin was discribed as "blast white".

  • From the looks of it, the one you bought there looks to have more luster then my graded one ( PCGS MS62 ). I like it too.

ccr...Your 1921 looks a whole lot better than a VG. Can you post your MS62?

dnadave....Very nice strike on that coin. Looks like a MS63 or MS64. You have to love the originality!

    Steve27...Is that a FR2? Very cool!!

I really, really hope ANACS thinks so too. I paid VF money for it and I'm hoping for a nice score. I'll be happy with AU though.

Here is mine with the "Line over L" VAM-3 variety. This is a PCGS MS63. Also have VAM-3 in PCGS MS64 and NGC MS64 (best coin). No images of the MS64's though.
