Even with 45 seconds they were not moving that fast. They just did not want it very bad.

McNad just quit, what a waste. It looked like he was just there to have fun and no to win a championship. I can assure the Eagles that next
    year won't be that easy.

That was horrible clock management. Tarnished what was for the most part an entertaining game.

Wow! Somebody has some serious explaining to do. Somebody's head should roll for that. Completely inexcusable!

That certainly was surprising. Not at all certain what they were thinking in the last 5 minutes. Still, two excellent teams who have put together some great seasons and did not "catch lightning in a bottle" by winning a Super Bowl and than taking a couple of years off.

  • Absolutely poor clock management at the end of the first half and the end of the game. In the first half they could have driven to within field goal range and went into the locker room with a 3 point lead.

At the game's end it was purely stupid to not run the no huddle and pass to the sidelines.

Andy Reid and Brad Childress are responsible, not McNabb. He was off at times, but came through enough to keep the Eagles in the game.

The coaches make the decisions to rush the offense and also call plays that give the QB a run option.

More of both would have given the Eagles a better outlook at the half, kept the Pats on back on their heels with a third play option, and given Akers a chance to kick FGs.

Reid will certainly get some heat from the Philly crowd.

Stalin - show me a real QB in a Bucs uni and I will agree with you. Until then your statements are purely bogus.
  • This was almost exactly what I expected. The Patriots entered a TD favorite, and lead by 10 late in the game, but the Eagles score a last minute TD to only lose by 3. I know the Eagles still had a shot, but the irony is that the TD was meaningless to the Eagles, but anything but meaningless to the millions of dollars that were bet on this game. Luckily this had no affect of my sole large play, under 49.
