What is wrong with the search engine here?

What am I doing wrong. Topics come and go fast here, and trying to root out an old thread, even using its exact name, doesn't work. It's as useless as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

It's called user error. I have never had any problems with my searches.

Make sure you scroll down and tell it what forum you want to search. It works great for me and I find stuff everyday here with it.

In addition to limiting the search you'll also do much better keeping it very simple; just
use a single keyword. You'll have to scan the results but it will come up. Try the "quicksearch"
near the top of each forum.
