You make these coins sound so ho-hum and average. Where are the adjectives?
Superb! Monster! PQ! Outstanding! Etc.......
Ok enough fun. Just a bump for some really nice coins as usual.

1913 Type 2 Buffalo 5c MS-66 PCGS. This is a superb coin that was acquired several years ago from heritage as a "J. Halpern Exceptional" piece. It is truly a PQ coin with superb detail and excellent luster, especially pronounced on the reverse. Toning is natural and lovely, and as depicted in the photo. The reverse of the coin is actually much prettier than the photo shows. The coin is sharply struck with middle state dies. Only the slightest weakness appears at the top of LIBERTY, which is common for the issue. There is a scuff on the Indian's cheek, which is not distracting, but noted for accuracy. An overall pleasing piece that will satisfy the discerning collector of the series or those who are looking for high grade type for the early part of this noble series.
1926 Buffalo 5c MS-66 NGC. Any serious collector of this series knows that finding nicely colored and eye appealing pieces from 1926, Philadelphia Mint, is a difficult task, at least. This piece shows great character and eye appeal with ample detail and crisp devices. No evidence of die wear shows, nor are there any clash marks. A pristine strike. There are a few scattered carbon spots that show much more prominently in the scan than in person. In-hand, this coin is exceptional and aesthetically pleasing. This piece is intended to satisfy the aficionado of the series and is perfect for the collector of a full date set or the complete series.
1987-D Jefferson 5c MS-66 FS PCGS. A fabulous and well struck coin with excellent detail throughout and steps that read 5-5-5-5. This coin possesses that "kick" to fetch the superlative grade of MS66 with surfaces that are veritably mark-free to the unaided eye. A bright white piece, although the scan does not depict that well. This piece is quite appealing overall and will make a great addition to the set of the Jefferson full step nickel collector or the collector of modern pieces.
1987-P Jefferson 5c MS-65 FS PCGS. A well struck coin with excellent detail throughout and steps that read 5-5-5-5. The coin is quite appealing overall and, like most of the 1987 issues, has fairly reflective surfaces. A great coin for the Jefferson full step nickel collector and the collector of modern pieces.
How's That? Hoot
