Silver. The above ground Silver supplies are running thin. Silver is a great electrical conductor and it is being looked out for use in space and many other industrial uses. When we have to start going underground for all silver it will become more expensive and the price will rise.

Stock. As long as it was invested wisely, it should outperform anything else (for the most part) over a 10 year span.

Stocks, hmm? Even with the SURE retirement of the baby boomers and the resulting plunge in purchasing?

VERY interesting results! I agree with them, although I also have Saints too. But they are ART as much as an investment....so I rarely think about when I'll ever sell.

  • I'd have to go DOW. I would hope to make enough money to buy two of what I want now in coins!! Wouldn't that be great.
  • I voted DOW. I'm betting the DOW will double in the next 10 years. And I have already put my money where my mouth is.

I am surprised Silver is currently getting more votes than Gold! Europe should be OK, but their currency isn't a great bet IMO. I think the US will continue to be more productive and efficient than Europe for the next 10 years. I think 10 yr bonds rates will rise over the next several years making that a poor bet, though I am buying some for the income and diversification in case I'm wrong image

Why would the people who voted for $20,000 in ammo be bothering to read a coin collecting forum! DIG! DIG! THE BUNKER ISN'T DEEP ENOUGH YET!!!

I had to go with the coin.

In reality it will never happen for me.

Went with the Dow as well ... I'd not wager that it will perform the best, but I think it will outperform a bond bought at today's rate by a wide margin
