Really nice. I've always wanted a nice 1700's $ in my collection and I think I've just been inspired to find one.

    Looks great!

    Congratulations!

A very pretty coin for the grade, with enough detail to allow you to appreciate and learn about these
    fabulous coins.

Hopefully, this will be your first bust dollar with many to come in the future.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I've been hunting for a nice example for a couple years. I finally found a problem free example at a fair price for the grade ($2,450). I look forward to getting this coin in hand (and then locked away... ;-(=)

Nice coin, I have always had success with Dave at Alpine. He gives new definition to the term "low-key" image

A very nice coin, with the bonus of some interesting reverse die cracks by OF. Have you determined the variety?

    Well, let's see.

    From the Earlydollars.org Web Site

    Normal Date
    13 Star Reverse
    7x6 Star Obverse
    Normal Reverse (Not crumbled I)
Normal Reverse (Not 13 Star Rev of 1798)
    Small Motto (Normal)
    With Berries (Normal)

So I bet it is a "common" one.

Does anyone have a web site that will help more than this one or coinfacts.com with the BB numbers?

Possibly a later die state from the reverse that strck this coin. See the die crack starting near the rim above the S of STATES, running through OF just clipping the lower serif of the middle finger of the F, continuing to the wing. Link BB163

This one is near identical for the reverse die crack! Link, but no BB #
