Friday update from the Houston money show

I took off a half day from work to attend the money show in Houston so that I could collector cherrypick the leftovers from the dealer swap on thursday which carried over into Friday.

I got there around noon and helped a local dealer as he was setting up his display which gave me first look at his inventory (before Stuart and Morganhunter2). I purchased a couple of morgans, a nice 1897 in pcgs ms64pl and a clean 1900 o in pcgs ms65 (sorry no pics).

Other purchases included a near dmpl 1882 s in 64pl and an 1881-o in au55 that has a pl reverse and a semi pl obverse. The common date au55 was for fun I couldn't pass up.

Morgan dollars where in great supply especially higher dollar CC morgans. I plan to go back and try to procure some. I must have seen a dozen or more 1892 CC in mint state graded by pcgs. Out of my range but fun to look at.

I did see Jessica with Jade Rare Coins which was worth the price of admission. There would have been more coin buying at the table except he was hard to get close due to Morganhunter2 guarding the table growling at anyone who went close to Jessica.

Overall, friday was just a warm up and I expect heavier traffic over the weekend. I need to reload and get back after some of the CC's.
