So,

I am expecting a package from my mom today and had forgotten to look when I got home late.
I just went down and looked.

Two packages! Hmmmm...mom said 1 package.

I grab both and look. One is from Mom. The other is from Amos Hobby


Hmmmm....it is addressed to my son. He has a birthday coming up.
I open it up. It is a "Premier Coin Storage box with 5 US 5-coin State Quarter Set Holders"!!!!!!

Very flipping cool!

I don't know who to thank though.
Whoa...hold on. I just noticed a line on the bottom of the invoice (so small, I missed it before).

I had put HIS name down for the raffle at FUN! The little bugger was a winner!

Very cool. These will come in handy for him!

Heh...nope, the horseboy scores....it is all his (I am the monkey....my chinese lunar symbol.....his is the horse though)
The coins I get a largely for him. I am just the temporary caretaker who gets to enjoy them.
Combine that with this come so close to his birthday, and I like to think of it as a bday present from Amos Hobby Publishing for him

Until I finally saw the comment on the bottom saying it was "contest winner from raffel at January 2005 FUN show", I really thought someone here had sent it....I was more than shocked as I don't think anyone knows his bday around here. It was REALLY weird thinking that too.
