    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    How about getting a little better picture of the coin, instead of special effects.

    I admit I don't approve. If they want to spruce up a coin pic, at least use a little class. This is frivolous hype done poorly. A little Photoshop knowledge is a dangerous thing in the hands of an amateur (or whatever software they used).

    Somehow I don't think it will help them sell better. Then again, eBay bidders can be surprising... image
