E-bay Seller Alert phone call???

I got home today and my wife said E-bay had called and said that I would be getting a "Seller Alert" e-mail and that I should read the e-mail and NOT delete it.

Anyone else get this call?

I also did a return call on the number and it appears to be an E-bay number.

They're doing telemarketing now. If you are set up to sell, and haven't sold anything for a while, you are likely to get a call.

You must have missed what I posted above. These calls are simply trying to get you to go to eBay and list items for sale. They've been offering to insertion fee credits and eBay points. They don't ask for any information, they just want you to go to eBay and sell items.

No call here and I have sold on eBay in the past. Even qualified for a power seller status for a couple of months.

Its probably legit. I got the call a couple of days ago and the followup email. They were promoting some sales deal. I didn't pay much attention.
