a PCGS vs. NGC observation about the FUN show

Along with the HUGE number of dealers who set up at the recent FUN show in Florida, perhaps my lasting impression was something I noticed even before I finished walking the first aisle on the bourse floor:
Coins in NGC holders easily outnumbered coins in PCGS holders... my estimate is by a 2:1 ratio.
For all of us who continue to anguish over the seemingly no-end-in-sight lengthy grading times at PCGS, this probably doesn't come as any surprise, does it?

When in doubt, don't.

So...Does that mean NGC is the best coin grading service in the world or are all the PCGS coins just sitting in the grading room in Newport beach?
The pile in Newport Beach grows ever larger!!

The ratio of ngc to pcgs coins has been the trend at all of my local/regional shows for quite some time.
You have to have a sharp cash flow in this day and age and having coins out at the graders doesn't help cash flow. For most small to medium sized dealers this is a huge factor in deciding who will certify their coins.

When I was searching the bourse floor for my 1955 DDO Lincoln, I saw ~11 in NGC holders, 1 in ANACS, and ~3 in PCGS.
The NGC were all roughly AU55-MS61BN. The PCGS were all RD or RB and were MS63-MS64 I believe (too much $$$ for me right now....I only wanted to spend $1500-$2000 for a nice one).
MARK FELD - have you found one for me yet?
Lotta bottom class TPG holders though.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
