Nice addition for them. Should give Cabrera some protection in the lineup.

The Marlins quietly put together a nice team again - should be interesting. I thought for sure however, that Delgado was bound for New York.

When Dougie Baseball is pulling in 3.75 million that should tell you how screwed up baseball is. This guy is the worst. Just pray he or his wife never open their mouth. Its painfull to listen to. When the Twins dupmed him last year he and his wife started babbling how unfair it was. You'd think the Twins had just lost Lou Gehrig after listening to these two blowhards.

  • When you say this guys the worst im not sure if your talking about on the field or what. I know on the field he's one of the better defensive 1st baseman in the game, which is really what the Mets need at that position with their infield being so young and all

He is limited at the plate but with the lineup they have now ( plus im sure their not done wheeling and dealing ) it might be more important they have a defensive type player at first

I was kind of hoping for johnny olerud to be back. ohh well i guess mank is same type feilder! but i was a big fan of johnny when he was a met!
  • Kuhl, so was i. He was a clutch hitter with the Mets and was sad to see him leave. Im happy with mank though

I would love to get Magglio and im still hearing Sosa rumors. Not thrilled with sosa, much rather Maggs

John Olerud would have been a good fit for the Mets. I know how much the Mets loved him while he was there. I am wondering where he is headed.
