Deadbeat bidder pays off...

I sold a set of 1981 SBAs on E-Bay last December for $7.36. After a month plus of non-communication from the winning bidder, I filed a complaint with E-Bay and ended up getting my fees back. I relisted those items and they ended today for $18! Guess it was a good thing the first deal fell through. What I don't understand is why these coins would go for so much more the second time around -- exact same listing as the last time. Oh well, I can't complain.

  • I had a guy finally pay from a sale back in October for a slab he never paid for. Total with shipping $8.50

Mid-late December and early January are always slow for coin sales with lower final values frequently 30-50% lower than late January early February

eBay is not freindly for descretionary sales with all the holiday bills people are paying during that period

but it is good if you are buying at that tiime
