Need more help posting pics larger than 50KB

OK.....dont know what im doing wrong, but whatever it is im doing it consisently...lol. I go either to image shack or comcast.net, both of which are hosting my pics...I go to the selected pic and copy the url. I then go to the message board and open up the image icon and paste the url there...I keep getting the dreaded red x...any help is appreciated...Mike

Post a picture. If you get a red "X", right click on the red "x" with your mouse. Look at the properties of the image. It should be the same as where your image is hosted. If not, you will need to edit out the wrong info.

If you host it on YOUR site you can post some pretty big pics and link it here like this

In the POST WINDOW click the picture in the frame(picture frame thingy that says IMAGE when you pause the mouse over it).. 4th from the left and enter the URL from your site.

don't use the HTTP link button

Remember that it needs the full address.
This is the url I am going to put in the picture icon window for my picture.

Hay guess what I found on the net.

This is to show that what we post here can be available to just about any body. Not trying to invade anybody's privacy but remember that what we store on the net is open to public view. It's from the same place as the babe picture.

This is coin forum the web site she's at also had the coin picture. Had to make it coin related. BTW the picure CHESSNUTDOG posted was less than 50K so you could of done it the other way.
