Crack or Cross?

I have a few Coins I would like to cross for my registry set, and would like to ask for some cross over stratagies.
I realize these will be generalizations until I can get some pictures up.

1). Can you specify a designation as part of the min. grade?

I have 2 PCI Pr Cam Franklins that are 67 CAM ( 53 and 54). I wouldn't mind the 1-2 point drop as long as they crosses as CAMs. (They look like good cams on both sides, suprised not PCI DCAM).

2). If I list Pr65 CAM as a min grade, will that lessen the chance of getting a 66CAM?

I also have a NGC pr 68UCAM that I want to cross.- Not sure It would go DCAM.

Should I :

3). Crack out All?
4). Cros all
5). Crack out the PCIs, and Cross the NGC?
6). Sell 'em and put the money toword already graded PCGS coins. ( Much more expensive than what I paid, even at a 2 pt loss)

  • Minimum grades include the designation since CAM and DCAM are part of a proofs grade. So yes you can put PF-66CAM.

I can't say to crack or cross them in the holder without seeing the coins, knowing their dates etc.

Always crack, crossing just doesn't seem to work.
