Do you imagine this one will be a keeper for years and years?
None right now but I do like the anticipation!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

An 1875 PF64 3CN (NGC) - this one looks juicy!!!
ICG is grading stuff (that I hope doesn't get body-bagged for any bizzare reasons):
1871 Indian Cent (looks BU)
1908S Indian Cent (VF?)
1909S Indian Cent(F+?)
I'm happy to be finally getting a piece of eight for the vest. And the 1800 Guatemalan 8-reales pieces would've been worth about $200 or so without the hole. I owe The Dead King about sixty bucks for the whole lot.

But I would never hoard 1827 halves.

<< <i>I just talked with the Girlfriend and the mailman dropped off six packages today >>
the other 5 were seized by the drug dogs.
now really, I have a dumb question. I have a PO BOX and live outside of town. The dealer is mailing my coin to me EXPRESS mail. Will they drive out here and deliver when it arrives???
<< <i>ok....WHAT ARE THEY? >>

I'm not stupid enough to ship narcotics via the USPS. I use FedEx for that...

In my opinion the coin grades G-6. Almost full rims and nice detail all around in the face and reverse on the eagle... scratches that seemingly appear in the photo aren't even noticable in person.. I'm very pleased. I've been out of coins for a good year only recently having my interest rekindled and I'm a happy camper. I got my money's worth I believe.
Thanks to the person who tipped me off to the JJ Teaparty website.. they actually have quite a few examples for sale.. apparently (almost) all from the same estate, although a few have sold since I bought mine.
Now to hoard some more 1927-S Standing Liberty Quarters...

That's cool! I'm looking forward to the pictures.
<< <i>Just got a 1913-S Barber Quarter NGC G-4 in the mail today.
In my opinion the coin grades G-6. >>
... almost. It's not quite strong enough for G6 in my book, but pretty dang close. Definitely a strong G4, and almost worthy of G6!
Goose3, we'll be expectin' pics of YOUR qwatuh when it arrives, of course.
Can't wait

It's either a Cambridgeshire 38 or a new variety. Problem is no one seems to know what a Cambridgeshire 38 looks like. It isn't pictured in Dalton & Hamer, and the description of the reverse isn't good enough to identify it. Book just says Corniacopia & olive branch. (There are four different fathing reverses with the cornicopia and olive branch design. One has just the design, one design and Farthing, one design farthing 1793, and one Payable in London 1795. this is obviously the third one but the book makes no mention of any inscriptions.)
