Jonesor's 1921 Peace dollar collection

turns out i was having a very blonde moment.... i thought for sure the roll I had was mostly 1921s.... but weren't. Just a bunch of 22's.

So I got my hopes up for nothing and I apologize to the board for misrepresenting.

  • Thats ok. Too bad though because even if they were all Fine-VF you would have thousands of dollars there.

that's also a little saddening... i try not to think about what i thought i might have had but didn't.
  • Are you collecting Peace dollars of just have the roll for the silver content?

  • funny story.....

I bought them around 98 or 99 from the home shopping network, I just thought they were cool looking. they sat in my drawer for the past couple years, mostly forgotten.

i recently got a very good job and had some spare cash. i thought it might be cool to have some old coins (my grampy had a whole bunch, but they 'disappeared' upon his death).

back to your question, i don't specifically collect Peace dollars. as a newbie collector, I'm still trying to decide what I will be collecting.

i think i'll start with modern commerative silver dollars, then maybe branch into older commeratives.
  • oh, and I wouldn't reccomend the home shopping network as a place to purchase coins
