1916-D Barber Quarter- Grade

I bought this Barber quarter on Ebay about two years ago. This was when I was a beginner at buying coins. What would you grade the coin? I grade the coin XF-40. Just want some grade opinions? Also, do you think the coin was cleaned because in person I can see that the right obverse field has some hairlines that you can't see in the picture. Maybe its just wear.Thanks.

XF40 sounds good to me.

i agree. looks like the normal m/m. 16-d is a common coin in xf-ish grades, but you can still cherrypick the omm's even today, because few people bother looking for them. i'd guess that in the past 2 years, i've cherried 5 or so.
