Nobody knows who struck this unique St. Patrick's "farthing" in gold. Nobody knows when it was struck. But I like it.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
It's two-sided. I'll post a reverse image shortly unless someone beats me to it.
There are many guesses as to when the coin was struck, ranging from 1645 (my guess) to the late 1700's.
