Crossover question.....Duct tape or not?

Although I've had 100's of coins entombed by PCGS I've never done a crossover. I feel an obvious bias will exist if they see the other companies grades so.........I am going to duct tape over the grade with the instructions on the slab "cross-over at my minimum grade", ie. MS65. A good idea or not? What say you?? Thanks, Chris

that's a good idea but what's to stop them from taking the tape off???

They will yell at you... and it's very hard to grade a coin with a duck taped to the slab...

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

They'd just peel it off. Current policy is for the graders to know what the coin grades.

It's 180 MPH Nascar approved duct tape that will be wrapped to 1/4 inch thickness. No ducks will be hurt in my crossover attempt.
